With its sleek design, advanced features, and exceptional performance, the Corolla Cross has become a top choice for many SUV buyers. However, Toyota is not content to rest on its laurels and is constantly looking for ways to improve the Corolla Cross.

One of the most significant enhancements of the Corolla Cross is the range expansion. Toyota has added a hybrid model to the Corolla Cross lineup, providing buyers with an eco-friendly option that delivers impressive fuel efficiency. The Corolla Cross GR-S HEV is powered by a 1,8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor, producing a combined output of 143 kW. The powertrain is mated to a seven-speed transmission that is said to deliver smooth and seamless acceleration and gear shifts.

On the outside, the new hybrid model features a bespoke exterior package with a revised front grille design finished in gloss black complemented by black exterior mirrors along with a black roof accesorised by the addition of black roof rails, a gloss black lower apron, a black roof spoiler, black tailgate trim and blacked-out rear diffuser. The package is completed by a GR badge affixed to the rear. To top the styling off, the GR-S HEV features gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels.

Of course, Toyota was not going to neglect the Corolla Cross’ interior either. The company is always looking for ways to make the vehicle even more comfortable and convenient for drivers and passengers. One way they’re doing this is through the introduction of new tech features. The new model has a full suite of safety features, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Trace Assist and a Pre-Collision System.
