Make your way to The Manor at Nederburg in Paarl for some rest and relaxation this festive season. The winery’s laid-back Sunset Stoep Sessions, featuring local musicians and flavours of the region, provide an ideal experience for the whole family.

Enjoy some of Nederburg’s fine wines with delicious snacks while listening to live music and watching the sunset over the vineyards and majestic Drakenstein mountains in the background.
Younger children will also enjoy the occasion as there is a fun play area in the garden with games, jungle gyms and zip lines, a tree house, swings, and more. Lawn games for adults are also available.
The live music performances start at 3pm until 6pm on selected Saturdays in December and January. Arrive early for a complimentary drink!
Please note, there will be no performances on 24 and 31 December as well as 28 January.
10 December: Mark Haze
Mark Haze is a South African singer-songwriter and full-time touring musician who is known for his wide vocal range and electric live performances. He expertly delivers a signature blend of high-energy rock ‘n’ roll, silky old-school soul and raw emotional blues that is guaranteed to get audiences up and dancing.
17 December: Dan Apollis
Dan Apollis is a solo guitarist, singer-songwriter and bassist from Worcester. He will be performing soft rock, indie folk, blues and other genres. Dan recently recorded his first original track, “Lazy Sunday Morning,” with Graham Ward, a former drummer for the great Tom Jones.
7 January: Juan Casey
A singer, songwriter and musician who loves music and his country, Juan Casey is an acoustic musician who covers a wide genre of music.
14 January: Ruben Gerritz
Ruben Gerritz is a talented singer-songwriter from Cape Town. Having his heritage in the blues but being open to the influence of many different genres during his musical development, he now eliminates boundaries in music and creates his own unique sound. While he writes songs mostly with an indie pop vibe, he likes to give some songs a funky African touch, which proves to strike a chord with the audience.
21 January: Timothy de Monk
Timothy de Monk, a young alternative pop singer-songwriter and guitarist who hails from Cape Town, is already taking over the airwaves. The artist has a captivating stage presence and can play a stripped-down acoustic set, an upbeat set with tracks and his guitar, or both.
