Chefs Peter Tempelhoff and team open a new restaurant called Ramenhead serving Japanese-style noodles and broth on Tuesday 13 December. Tempelhoff also runs the acclaimed Japanese-fusion restaurant FYN in the Cape Town city centre as well as beyond on Constantia property Buitenverwachting.

The kitchen will feature a Yamamoto noodle-making machine, purchased earlier this year when Tempelhoff and colleague Ashley Moss were on a 10-day ramen-tasting trip through Osaka and Tokyo.

Ramenhead is situated downstairs from FYN – Ground Floor, Speakers Corner, 37 Parliament Street, Cape Town. Open for lunch and dinner daily except Sundays and Mondays. No reservations and no cash.
