Dad's Elated Reaction to Getting a Chocolate Lab Is Impossible to Resist

He couldn't contain his emotions.

Bringing home a new pet means caring for them for the rest of their lives, however long it may be. It's no small commitment! That's why it's oh-so-important to make sure everyone in your home is ready for the newest addition--unless, of course, it's a surprise. 

@Kelseyhayes._ and her loving family pulled off the best birthday surprise for their dad by gifting him his very own chocolate labrador puppy. In case you can't tell by his precious reaction--this pup is his dream dog!

We're not sure what's cuter: the puppy or the dad's reaction! Just like @boymom_love_em wrote in the comments, "the way he says 'I love him!' He turned into a kid again in that moment." It's just the sweetest! If we're being totally honest, though, it seems like everyone is excited to meet the new fur baby. They even picked out his name!

The most-liked comment on the video came from @cheesestringlove0 who suggested, "LET HIM NAME HIS DOG!" We're sure a name was agreed upon, whether or not it was the one the family picked. No matter what they call him, though, we have zero doubt that he'll be adored. Still, we love what other commenters were thinking! 

"I thought “chocolate lab” meant something like Willy Wonka's factory," said @car5lina. LMAO! For some reason, there were so many comments just like this one, but we do like where their minds were at. There's never a bad time for chocolate!
