Review: Here’s one that I discovered while searching through Lance Henriksen’s filmography and was generally curious about it.
Delta Heat is what I like to call a decent time-waster that mostly relies on the chemistry of its two leads which sometimes can be the downfall of some buddy films if they don’t have that.
Both Anthony Edwards and Lance Henriksen make for a good team with Henriksen having fun with his role. The rest of the cast does a decent job with what they’re given even if they’re not entirely memorable overall.
The story is serviceable at best although it does become quite predictable towards the end, however, that didn’t detract from the quality of the film.
Now, if you’re expecting a lot of action then you’ll be sorely disappointed as there’s not as much as you think.
Overall, Delta Heat is a fairly decent time-waster that has two leads who have good chemistry, some great use of some New Orleans locations, and has some fun banter that is displayed throughout.
