The Department of Energy has published December’s official petrol and diesel price changes, which will come into effect on 7 December 2022.

Motorists can expect a drop in the price of diesel and an increase of 59 cents per litre in petrol.
The price adjustment is due to an increase in retail and wholesale margins as well as an increase in the slate levy.
