SANParks and NCC Environmental Services crew responded to a fire in Imizamo Yethu, Hout Bay, this afternoon. City of Cape Town Fire and Rescue Services were also in attendance.
UPDATE:
“The fire is 95% contained, however, there are still open flames at the top on the left and right flanks burning in inaccessible areas. Crews will continue with fire fighting and mopping up operations,” SANParks said in a statement.
Sunday’s weather is forecasted to be 27 degrees with wind gusts up to 82km/hour.
