Jump and jive at the next Silo Concert with “This Thing Called Swing”

Hop, swing, jump, and jive at the Silo District on Friday, 6 January 2023, with a live performance from The Swing All Stars Big Band.

Silo Concerts, in partnership with Hendricks Gin, returned in 2022 to entertain visitors at Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront.

Established in 2018, the concerts quickly gained popularity and soon became an annual series of memorable events, before the onset of the pandemic brought an end to public events.

The Waterfront has previously featured orchestras, jazz and Kwela bands, singer Amanda Black, and The Soil, to name a few. Visitors to the V&A can look forward to an exciting and varied concert line-up as part of the 2022–2023 series.

The next Silo Concert will be held on Friday, 6 January 2023, with a live performance from The Swing All Stars Big Band.

The 20-piece band will be led by Mike Campbell and will be sure to swing you back into the 30s and 40s. A dedicated dancefloor awaits, so dress up and bring your dancing shoes.

Cape Town Swing will offer a free dance class before the show to get you ready and prepared to swing the night away.
