Cape Town recently played host to Chelsea Handler. The American comedian and host of the late-night talk show Chelsea Lately took a break from her busy schedule to explore the wonders of South Africa and the Mother City, and didn’t shy away from sharing her experiences on her Instagram feed: ‘Africa: the most beautiful place in the world to see all of Mother Earth’s finest creations.’

Handler visited Tanzania, Kenya and Zimbabwe before touring Victoria Falls and Cape Town. She posted to Instagram with the caption: ‘We made memories for a lifetime, lives were changed, and in my never-ending search for ice, I have succumbed to drinking beer.’
Handler’s trip to South Africa was anything but laid-back; the television host stayed true to her wild side by making sure she experienced activities like horseback riding, cliff-jumping and sandboarding.
‘Special shout-out to Rex of @redfootsafaris for organizing every single detail of this trip, for managing flights, lodges, horseback riding, delicious meals, village visits, volleyball, cliff-jumping, emotional rollercoasters, alcohol, and classes in astronomy and zoology! You are the absolute best and we all love you so mucho!’
