Cape Town – “Every year around this time u balling crazy,” one tweep said after SA rapper Cassper Nyovest posted an image on Twitter, alerting people about his “new piece” of jewelry that looks lustrous… and very expensive.

The rapper, who is also a celebrity boxer amongst other things, shared images of his customised neckpiece, with one fan telling him, “You don’t play when it comes to ICE.” It certainly doesn’t look like he does.

One fan noticed a pattern: every time this year, Cassper balls out. The rapper gave an explanation for his particular fondness of spending a large sum of money at this time of the year.

“Hahaha nah, it’s around my birthday so I have an excuse to go crazy,” Cassper said.

What can be seen in one of the images Cassper posted is a watch, a ring, and a neckpiece, which all look very costly.

Check out Cassper’s ice here:

Damn cold like Ice Age,” one follower tweeted in response.

“The only rapper that lives like a rapper in SA, Lord Mufasa,” wrote another.
