Cape Town – Actress Pearl Thusi is considered one of the most beautiful women in the country, however, not even she can escape the internet trolls.
She found herself defending her skin colour yet again after some social media users claimed she is only as pretty as she is because of her lighter skin tone.
Thusi posted a couple of snaps from her holiday in Brazil where she wore a bikini and said that she was wearing no make-up and had not edited the pictures.
“Didn’t even bother editing these! Thank you Brazil! Nothing can kill my vibe right now. Tell anyone who’s try a bring me down. I’m not about to act a clown. No make up, no edits. Just me,” she said.

Thusi also responded to a Twitter troll who said that she has been dealing with issues around her skin colour since a young age already. She said she’s been dealing with this issue her entire life.
Imagine having to deal with this your entire life.
Ppl used to say this to me as a child & it was always people who were darker than me who’d say this. I never understood why someone would say I’d be ugly if I looked like them.

Many tweeps came to Thusi’s defence against the haters, saying she should pay no attention to the trolls and that she needs no validation from anyone.
