Cape Town – Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rhulani Mokwena has caused quite a stir on social media after sexy pictures from his photoshoot went viral.

Social media reacted with shock, accusing the soccer coach of trying to steal the “limelight” from players.

Others, however, thought he was what South African soccer needed to redefine masculinity.

According to Sunday World, the former football player and manager is the fifth media figure to be highlighted in the online magazine Nounouche.

He manages the Rhulani Mokwena Foundation which aims to use football as a tool to advance other socially good, long-term development goals, and has mentored young coaches since it was founded, the report said.

He was featured on the Nounouche’s fifth issue which described him as “a legend in the making”.

“Introducing our fifth issue with a legend in the making! @coach_rulani talks to us about his passion for football, leadership, challenges he faces as a young coach and we talk about spirituality!” the publication tweeted.
