Saudi Arabia issues first drivers licences to women
Driving is something millions of women around the world take for granted. But not in Saudi Arabia. For the first time, driver’s licences have been issued to women there, three weeks before a nationwide ban is lifted. But as Jeff Semple reports, critics doubt the move will mean much.
