Precious Munchkin Kitten Who Lost Her Ears and Leg Is Capturing Hearts

She's an absolute angel!

Dollie is an absolutely adorable Munchkin kitten who was brought to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Boston when she started exhibiting signs of a mystery illness and her family could no longer care for her.

She wasn't behaving like a normal kitten, and her skin and parts of her extremities were starting to die. Her ears eventually fell off, and she needed to have one of her legs and tails amputated. MSPCA-Angell shared Dollie's story to their Facebook Page.

Due to the heroic efforts of the Angell West in Waltham team, Dollie was able to make a full recovery and find her happily ever after. Dollie's mystery illness was due to ischemic dermatopathy, which caused widespread inflammation that led to her becoming so sick. Her unusual coloring is due to ringworm medication.

People in the comments adore this unusual kitten with Erin Monahan Balcom commenting, "She is so precious! My heart goes to the family that had to surrender her to give her the best chance. Most people don't expect drastic unknown issues to appear with young kittens & the costs can very easily overwhelm." Barbara Levreault added, "A sad start to life but OMG she is absolutely adorable!! Won’t take long to find her a good home!" Kathy Landers Keyes adds, "What a story. And what a cutie."

Just yesterday, the rescue posted, "We’re thrilled to announce that Dollie went to her new home today!" What a wonderful ending to such an unusual start in life for this precious kitten.
