For the 100th time, a Red Bull will lead a Formula 1 Grand Prix to
green as Max Verstappen secured pole for the Chinese Grand Prix. A
blistering lap banked a 37th career pole for the world champion as
he became the first driver in the 21st century to start the first
five races of the year from pole - Mika Hakkinen in 1999 was the
last, and broke his own record of five straight poles, a run
stretching back to Abu Dhabi last season. He joined by Sergio Perez
on the front-row, but the results are provisional after Aston
Martin launched a protest. You can check out the full starting grid
for the 2024 F1 Chinese Grand Prix below! NOTE: Grid remains
provisional until officially confirmed by the FIA. 2024 F1 Chinese
