TikTok user @rachelgorry78 and her three daughters have gone through a very difficult time. They, unfortunately, lost their dad. And anyone who has lost a loved one before knows how hard the grieving period can be. So, this mom decided to surprise her girls to hopefully help with the sadness.

This video, which brought in over 1 million views on the first day, shows the three daughters sitting at the kitchen counter. The mom walks in with the surprise. A cockapoo puppy! All three of their reactions will have you absolutely sobbing. Grab a tissue for this one!

Ugh, we can’t stop crying over this video. We feel so bad for all the pain they’ve felt. We know a dog will never replace their dad, but we do know it will help heal them. The amount of love these girls will give the puppy is going to be unmatched.

“Omg, I’m crying. Dogs are honestly the best therapy. Enjoy little pups,” wrote @alishamarierutter. We are so sorry for their loss. Dogs will never be able to replace a loved one, but they’ll give you a whole new kind of love. @mountainashgirl added, “A new puppy will always heal our broken hearts.” That’s the truth!

Another TikTok user, @martinad185, commented, “What a beautiful moment. Sobbing here.” We’re ALL sobbing here! We’re especially sobbing because the mom wrote in the caption that the puppy has already brought so much love back into their hearts. That’s so great to hear! We hope they’re ready because that love is never, ever going to stop.
