Prime Cabernet Sauvignon
The winery was officially opened in 2005, and since then, the focus has been on producing a range of wines, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon. Recent renovations have transformed the winery into an iconic symbol of the Helderberg region.

The vines are planted on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountains, benefiting from high-potential soils and ideal growing conditions for preferred varieties. The slopes have granite mother material, a lot of clay, and mostly Tukulu and Oakleaf soil families. A large portion of the vineyard is devoted to cabernet sauvignon with dedicated blocks planted north and northeast to absorb as much sunlight as possible. This is the key to producing the fuller and fruitier wines of Ernie Els fame.
