Presented by Pieter Toerien and Rand Merchant Bank, South African favourites the Mzansi Tenors will be performing at Theatre On The Bay this month from 25 to 28 January.
The Mzansi Tenors, founded by UCT lecturer Sipho Fubesi, were formed at the end of 2021 and are an exciting new development in the South African music scene.
Fubesi, blown away by his students’ talent, wanted to create an opportunity for them to perform regularly and earn an income. This is a proudly South African, handpicked tenor group that has begun to perform across the country in all types of performances.
Hosted by Richard Cock and supported by Rand Merchant Bank, the Mzansi Tenors’ programme showcases the group’s signature Afro-opera style through well-known tenor arias and South African hits.
“You are sure to get shivers down your spine,” says Cock.
Don’t miss an inspiring experience featuring ten talented, proudly South African musicians serenading you through the first month of 2023.
