Cape Town – Renowned American singer Kelly Rowland was very vocal about her adoration for South African rapper Cassper Nyovest, praising him and describing one of his performances that she witnessed as “incredible”.

The former member of Destiny’s Child, who is currently in the country, was answering questions in an interview. She was asked who her current favourite South African artist was and Cassper Nyovest was her answer.

“There was an artist when I came a couple of years back, and he put on a killer performance. It was incredible, Cassper nailed that performance. And I remember we all saw the monitor behind the stage, and we were like ‘we want to go out there’,” she answered the interviewer.

Watch Kelly praising Cassper below:

Cassper caught wind of the interview and posted the video onto his personal Twitter page, tagging Kelly in the caption beside a heart emoji.

The singer seems like she is enjoying her time in South Africa, taking to Instagram to call SA her “2nd home”.
