Winner of the 2022 American Humane Hero Dog Awards Has Us Inspired

Ethan's recovery is the most inspiring story.

In November, many dog lovers gear up to enjoy The National Dog Show, which airs on Thanksgiving Day. Before then, though, an even more important event takes place--the American Humane Hero Dog Awards. The pups honored in this event are all heroes in their own special ways, though only one can be crowned the American Humane Shelter Hero Dog. 

This year, Ethan the rescue dog was given the honor. After surviving unspeakable conditions and a grueling recovery, he's bringing hope and joy to so many people around the world.
